| Ever forget something important that was sent to you as an instant message? Me too. Well now you can save an IM conversation for future reference in AOL Mail. To save an IM conversation in AOL Mail:
1. At the top of the IM window, next to the person's name, click the down arrow drop-down menu and then click Save Conversation.
2. That's it! In the left panel, click IMs to view the conversation that you just saved.
