Scan my computer using McAfee Internet Security Suite - Special edition from AOL version 10.5

The instructions given below are for McAfee Internet Security Suite - Special edition from AOL version 10.5.

McAfee Internet Security Suite - Special edition from AOL version 10.5 offers three different ways to scan your computer for malicious activity.

• Quick Scan: If you wish to scan for virus, spyware, or other threats in the most vulnerable areas of your computer, click Start in the Quick Scan section.
• Full Scan: If you wish to scan for virus, spyware, or other threats that exist anywhere in the computer, click Start in the Full Scan section.
• Custom Scan: If you wish to scan for virus, spyware, or other threats in a specific drive or folder, use the custom scan.

To start scanning your computer now:

1. On the Windows taskbar, next to the clock, right-click the McAfee (M) icon, select Run a scan, and any of the following options:

• Quick
• Full
• Custom

2. If you choose the Quick or Full option, the scan will begin automatically. The instructions given below are applicable when you choose Custom option.

3. Under Settings, on the left side, choose the folders you would like to scan.

4. Under Settings, on the right side, choose the desired scan options.

5. Click Scan.
