Scan my computer using McAfee Internet Security Suite - Special edition from AOL version 9.15

The instructions given below are for McAfee Internet Security Suite - Special edition from AOL version 9.15.

McAfee Internet Security Suite - Special edition from AOL version 9.15 offers three different ways to scan your computer for malicious activity.

• Quick Scan: If you wish to scan for virus, spyware, or other threats in the most vulnerable areas of your computer, click Start in the Quick Scan section.
• Full Scan: If you wish to scan for virus, spyware, or other threats that exist anywhere in the computer, click Start in the Full Scan section.
• Let Me Choose: If you wish to scan for virus, spyware, or other threats in a specific drive or folder, click Start in the Let Me Choose section. Select the check box next to the folder that you wish to scan, and then click Start.

To start scanning your computer now:

1. On the Windows taskbar, next to the clock, right-click the M icon, and then click Scan.

Note: If you don't see the McAfee icon next to the clock, click the arrow next to the clock to reveal hidden icons.

2. In the Scan Options window, choose any of the following options:

• Quick Scan
• Full Scan
• Let Me Choose

Notes:

• If you choose the Quick Scan or Full Scan option, just click Start for the scan to begin.
• The instructions given below are applicable for the Let Me Choose option.

3. In the Location section, choose the scan location.

4. In the Scan For section, choose the desired scan options.

5. Click Start.
