How do I add pictures to an email in AOL Desktop v10.1?

You can add .art, .jpg, .gif, or .bmp pictures to your emails. When you insert an image into your email, the image is placed in the body of your email. Any text that you type in the email will appear above or below the image.

Tips on inserting pictures:

  • You can copy an image from a Web page and paste it into an email. To do this, right-click the image in the browser, choose Copy, and then in the email, right-click again and choose Paste.
  • You can also right-click within the email, click Insert Picture, navigate to the folder that contains the image you want to insert, and then click open.
  • You can resize an image in your email using your mouse. First, click once on the image. A small square will appear at each corner of the picture, indicating that the picture is ready to be resized. Next, click and hold one of the resize boxes and move your mouse to resize the picture.
