Hello! Are the time settings on your computer showing up incorrectly? Sometimes the time can be set incorrectly. This can cascade over into the programs you run on your computer, causing problems within the AOL Desktop software or other applications.

The time you have set in Date and Time in the Control Panel is used by the AOL Desktop software for the online clock as well as the timestamps on your emails. The clock and timestamps will not display correctly if the time settings on your computer are improperly configured.

Before you start

You will need to know the version of the Microsoft Windows operating system installed on your computer. You can find this information by following the instructions given in the help article Determining your version of Microsoft Windows.
