What tab

Click on the What tab and you can configure the backup settings that are listed in the following table:

Online Backup Sources

You can select the drive and folders that contain the files you want to back up. See Selecting the backup source for more information.

Calculate Next Backup

Norton Online Backup scans your backup set and determines if you have enough online storage space to complete your next backup. The scanning speed depends on the size of your backup set and the speed of your internet connection.

File Categories

You can back up different File Categories, such as photos, emails, Office documents, videos, music and more. See About backup file categories for more information

You can also include File Extensions. All designated File Extensions are in addition to any File Categories that you have selected. You should use this to add File Extensions that are either not in the File Categories or to back up any specific subset of File Extensions instead of a File Category. See Including file extensions for more information.

Additional Files and Folders

You can include or exclude individual files or folders to your backup set. This will back up the specific path of each added file or folder as long as that path is valid. These will be backed up in addition to your File Category and File Extension settings. See Adding files and folders to Norton Online Backup for more information.

Advanced Rules

By using Advanced Rules, you can include or exclude specific files or folders to your backup set. Advanced rules help you back up the files that are not detected automatically by Norton Online Backup. See About advanced rules for more information.
