Activate and redeem your Code

A monthly $50 credit from can be activated for certain AOL Advantage plans. This benefit may be activated for one username per eligible account and can't be transferred to another username on the account. Codes that were sent out for the $25 benefit have been updated to the increased value of $50, there is no need to request a new code.

Activate your Code to redeem your credit

If your account has a plan that includes the Code, you'll see it listed in MyBenefits.

1. Sign in to MyBenefits with the username you'd like to activate the Code for.
2. Locate the benefit.
3. Click Get Code Now.
4. On the activation landing page, click Get Code Now.
5. Click Redeem Now to go to AOL's page.
6. Verify the credit and Code details, then click Redeem.
7. If not already logged in, click Sign In at the top of the page.
8. If you have an existing account, sign in to it to apply the credit. If you don't, click Create Your Account and follow the prompts to create an account and apply the credit to it.

It may take up to 24 hours for the credit to display on your account page.

Your $50 credit is good for the calendar month only (January, February, etc.), and you'll need to reactivate your Code in your account each month to receive that month's new credit. A remaining monthly balance won't carry over to the next month.

Your Code will remain the same through December 31 of the year you activate it in. Follow the activation steps above to get a new Code at the start of a new calendar year.

Reactivate your Code each month for a new credit

On the 1st of each month, your balance will reset to $0. You must reactivate your Code to add that month's $50 credit to your account.

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Click My Account.
3. Under "My Orders," click cards.
4. Click Redeem beside the card with your AOL Code.

Redeem your credit for restaurant offer certificates

Once you've activated your Code and applied your credit to your account, you'll have an available balance to redeem toward restaurant offer certificates.

If your balance isn't showing, try following the steps for activating your code again.

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Click Continue to return to the offer search page.
3. Enter a zip code to search for offers near.
4. Click Search.
5. Click Redeem Now for the restaurant offer you'd like.
6. Click Redeem to confirm.

Your restaurant offer certificate will be saved to the Restaurant certificates area of your account, where you can view and print it.
