Cc and Bcc email recipients

Adding a carbon copy (Cc) and/or blind carbon copy (Bcc) to your email is a great way to loop-in contacts that aren't your email's main audience but still need to have the info. Both Cc and Bcc will forward a copy of the message to those listed but Bcc is used for contacts that you want to hide. No one sees who's in the Bcc list beside you.

1. Launch Desktop Gold.
2. Sign on with your username and password.
3. Click the Write icon Image of the compose email icon. at the top of the window.
4. Click in the Cc field (or click the Bcc button) and start typing an email address and select it from the drop-down or click the Address Book icon Image of the Address Book icon. .
5. From the Address Book, select a contact(s) and click Cc or Bcc.

Email Address Validation

Whenever Desktop Gold identifies an invalid email address, it highlights it in red. You will be prompted with an error message if you try to send the email while the address is still highlighted.

To correct this, right-click the email address and select Edit Contact. When editing your contact make sure that the email address uses a valid domain after the '@' symbol and that it doesn't have any extra spaces inserted into it.
