What are AOL online classes?
AOL online classes is an online community of people who want to meet others and learn new skills from the comfort of their own home. Our members can choose from a range of classes to watch such as Fitness, Food and Nutrition, Technology and more. With AOL online classes, there is always something new to learn.
What technology do I need for AOL online classes?
You can watch AOL online classes from any computer, laptop or mobile device with an internet connection.
How do I find a class?
1. Visit the AOL homepage.
2. Click Online Classes in the left hand navigation or Fitness to watch classes related to that topic.
3. A list of categories will appear under the featured video on the AOL online classes page. Click a category or scroll down the page to view class topics.
4. Click an image to watch a class.
How do I watch a class?
To watch a class, click on the class image. This will take you to the AOL online classes lounge. From there, you may have three options:
- To watch a class that is on replay, you do not need to do anything. The class will automatically play.
- To watch a class that is live, click Enter Class. Click Watch Live or Restart Class if the class has already started.
- To watch an upcoming class, stay on the page until the video begins. Click Watch Previous Class to view the previous class.
How do I participate in a class?
In order to participate in a class, click the Chat tab in the AOL online classes lounge. To chat during a class:
1. Click SIGN UP / LOG IN TO CHAT.
2. Sign in to your AOL account.
3. A temporary username will populate in the chat window.
4. Type your comment and click the flag to send your message to the chat.
Can I use the class chat to ask questions about my AOL account?
No, the chat function should only be used to participate in the class you are watching. For questions about your AOL account, visit MyBenefits.
Do I need to log in to AOL to watch a class?
You do not need to log in to your AOL account to watch a class. However, you will be prompted to log in to your AOL account if you want to use the chat feature.
Where can I find more classes?
There are two ways to find more classes. You can find more classes in the AOL online classes lounge by clicking the Explore tab. A list of popular videos to watch will appear. Additionally, you can click View More on the AOL online classes page to view more classes on a specific topic.
