Technology can be confusing...we know. Yahoo Plus Protect Home for AOL gives you immediate access to tech experts to help you solve tech issues. There’s no limit to the number of times or the time of day you can contact our experts. Tech support includes:
• Connecting your household.
• Printer issues Speeding up a slow computer.
• WiFi Setting up new devices and accessories.
• Removal of viruses, malware, and spyware Wireless Home Networking - Setting up and configuring router issues.
• Setting up or troubleshooting issues with various home devices, including but not limited to:
• Mobile devices, Smart TVs, game consoles, streaming devices, virtual assistants (Echo, Google Home, etc.) wearables (Fit Bit, Apple watch, etc.), thermostats, security cameras, and more.
What devices are covered under the device protection plan?
Accidents can happen to anyone. Yahoo Plus Protect Home for AOL gives you greater peace of mind knowing that your home devices are protected1. You don’t even need to worry about digging up old receipts. We will repair, replace, or even reimburse you if one of your home devices experiences a mechanical or electrical defect due to:
• Power surge issues.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Defects in materials and/or workmanship.
• Accidental damage from handling (for some products).
Lost or stolen devices - are not covered under this plan.
Home office and home entertainment eligible devices are subject to a $99 service fee. These include the following home devices:
• Premium headsets.
• Home router (wired or wireless).
• Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled speakers.
• Computers (laptops, desktops, tablets).
• Home theater system (could include receiver, sound bar, amplifier, subwoofer and tuner).
• Printers and multifunction printers LCD, Plasma or LED televisions Gaming systems.
Other wearables and smart home devices have a $49 service fee. This includes the following devices:
• Smart door lock(s).
• Smart thermostat(s).
• Smart video doorbell(s).
• Smart home security camera(s).
• Smart watches Health and fitness band(s).
Home devices that don't have a service fee include:
• Smart device hub(s).
• Smart light dimmer(s).
• Speakers Blue-Ray player.
• DVD players and portable DVD players.
• Audio/Video streaming devices (Excluding Verizon-branded or provided audio/video streaming devices).

To be eligible for coverage under this plan, eligible products must be equipped with a Windows Operating System version Windows 7 or newer or Android version 1.6 or newer and Apple computers which are equipped with an Apple operating system version OS X (10) or newer.
There is a 30-day waiting period - which begins on the date of your enrollment, before you may file a claim. Access to technical support begins on your date of enrollment.
