McAfee Multi Access: Installing and Uninstalling

Below you can find the minimum system requirements for McAfee Multi Access for Android devices:

• OS: Google Android 14.x, 13.x
• Internet Connection: High-speed connection recommended
• 1 GHz Processor

Below you can find the minimum system requirements for McAfee Multi Access for iOS devices:

• OS: iOS 15 or higher
• Internet Connection: High-speed connection recommended

Note: McAfee Internet Security (MIS) users will have their software automatically updated to McAfee Multi Access.

If you have McAfee included as part of your AOL Plan:

1. Go to https://www.aol.com/products/adv-lp/mcafee.
2. Click Get Protected.
3. On McAfee's website, make sure PC is selected and click Download.
4. Click Agree and Download once you've read the License Agreement.
5. Make a copy of the serial number displayed on the page.
6. Wait for the file to be downloaded and then double-click it.
7. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

If you have McAfee included as part of your AOL Plan:

1. Go to https://www.aol.com/products/adv-lp/mcafee.
2. Click Get Protected.
3. On McAfee's website, make sure Mac is selected and click Download.
4. Click the checkbox under "Read the McAfee License Agreement."
5. On the Download Instructions window, click Download.
- Note: Copy or write down the serial number displayed on the page.
6. Wait for the file to downloaded and then click it to open it. (The file will most likely download to your Downloads folder.)
7. Double-click the "McAfeeMacInstaller" to begin the installation process.
- Note: If you get a pop-up window saying "McAfeeMacInstaller" is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?", click Open.
8. Enter your serial number and then click Next. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

1. From your device, go to https://www.aol.com/products/adv-lp/mcafee.
2. Click Get Protected.
3. On McAfee's website, select Mobile and click Download.
4. Choose Android at the top of the page, and then click Download. You will be taken to the Google Play website.
5. Click Install.
6. Make sure your phone is connected to the internet and wait for the McAfee app to be downloaded on your phone.

If you have McAfee included as part of your AOL Plan:

1. From your computer, go to https://www.aol.com/products/adv-lp/mcafee.
2. Click Get Protected.
3. On McAfee's website, there are two different ways you can download McAfee on your mobile device. The easiest way is to send a link to your mobile device and download McAfee directly to your iOS device. To send a link, select Mobile from the drop-down on the right and then click Send Link.
4. You'll receive a text message with a download link. Tap it to begin the download process.
5. Safari on your iOS device will open a "McAfee Multi Access" download page. Tap Download.
6. On the "McAfee All Access - Mobile Security" page, tap Download.

Note: You'll need to copy or write down your activation code.

7. The App Store will launch and take you to the McAfee app page. Tap Get.
8. After the app has downloaded, tap Open.
9. Tap Get Started.
10. Enter your McAfee username and password in the boxes provided and tap Log in.

Use the McAfee Consumer Product Removal (MCPR) tool to uninstall McAfee Multi Access:

To download and use the MCPR tool:

1. Go to http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe and download the MCPR.exe file.
2. Save the MCPR.exe file at a desired location (for example, on the Desktop).
3. Navigate to the destination where you’ve saved the MCPR.exe file, and then double-click the MCPR.exe icon to begin the installation.
4. Click Yes if you are prompted to give permission to the software to make changes to the computer.
5. In the McAfee Software Removal window, click Next.
6. After reading the End User License Agreement, select Agree and click Next.
7. In the Security Validation window, enter the characters you see and click Next.
8. The MCPR tool will begin to remove McAfee. This may take a few minutes. Once the installation is complete, the file immediately starts the clean-up process.
9. Click Restart to restart your computer.
10. Click Yes to restart your computer. Once the computer restarts McAfee Multi Access will be removed.

Follow the steps below to uninstall McAfee Multi Access on your Mac computer:

1. Open your Applications folder.
2. Double-click the McAfee Internet Security Uninstaller.
3. Click Continue.
4. Type in your administrator password and click OK.
5. Click Finish.
6. That's it! McAfee Multi Access has been removed from your Mac computer.

Follow the steps below to uninstall McAfee Multi Access on your Android device:

1. Tap the Settings icon on your home screen.
2. In the Settings menu, tap on Apps or Manage Apps.
3. Locate McAfee in the list of apps and tap on it.
4. Tap on Uninstall.
5. Tap again on Uninstall to confirm.
6. That's it! McAfee Multi Access has been removed from your Android device.

Follow the steps below to uninstall McAfee Multi Access on your iOS device:

1. Locate the McAfee app icon on your home screen.
2. Tap and hold on the McAfee app icon.
3. Tap on the X button to remove the app from your device.
