If you access AOL Mail using your mobile web browser and experience any performance issues, switch to the basic version. It's recommended you create a bookmark to access basic mail, otherwise you may have to complete these steps each time.
If you're unable to follow the steps below, you're already in basic Mail!
1. Sign in to your AOL Mail account from your mobile web browser.
2. Tap the Menu icon to the left of your Inbox.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Go down and tap Go to basic Mail.
5. Select a reason.
6. Tap Go to basic Mail.
